The real cost of a form "on the side" of the file
Taken alone, a MIR form only takes a few minutes. Multiplied by the volume of mandates in a practice, re-entry becomes a full workstream: copy errors (a mis-typed claim reference is enough to have the form rejected), back-and-forth between tools, impossible tracking, which form was sent, when, for which file?
What native integration changes
Medicalex integrates MIR Ethias forms directly into the expert file. In practice:
- the form is created from the file, identity, dates, claim reference already filled in;
- assessment fields (permanent disability rate, consolidation) reflect the file's conclusions;
- sending to Ethias happens from Medicalex, without manual export;
- each form remains logged by file and by patient.
For the secretariat, one less flow to monitor
The MIR form stops being a separate tool with its own tracking: it follows the file's lifecycle, like the report or the invoice. The secretariat no longer checks "where the forms stand", the status is visible where everything else already is.
